Fragrance oils (sometimes listed as parfum) are used by most lotion companies. It is a synthetic (made in a lab). Fragrance oil are very strong and are often associated with headaches and skin irritations. Essential oils are natural they are made from the plant and most times, when used properly, have a healing therapeutic, synergistic or medicinal benefit as well.
