Potassium Sorbate
Potassium Sorbate is the only preservative that is considered GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA. It has been widely used for more than 100 years without incident. It is the only preservative used by Skin Essentials. A preservative is needed if there is water in a product otherwise it will mold in just a few days.
